We never run a class with fewer than four players, and never more than twenty. The intimacy is the point.

Session One
The tiles, the table, the goal
Suits, honours, winds, dragons. Building a wall, dealing, drawing and discarding. Your first hand. Covers the East round.

Session Two
Patterns, scoring & strategy
Standard hands, pungs and chows, reading the table. Practising real games with light coaching. Covers the West and North rounds.
03
Session Three (or extended Day 2)
Etiquette, flow & confidence
Authentic Chinese etiquette, pace of play, and supervised full games. Covers the South round. You leave ready to host your own table.
