Kolkata-born, world-curious. A lifelong student of games that bring people together.

— My story —
From a quiet evening of tiles to a movement.
I discovered Mahjong the way most great loves begin — by accident, at someone else's table. What I found was a 200-year-old language of patterns, patience, and play that I couldn't put down.
Over the past several years, I've taught hundreds of students across India and the Gulf — from first-timers who'd never seen a tile to experienced players seeking the authentic Chinese game. Every class is intimate, every group becomes a community.
The Tile Stories is the home for that work — a place to learn the game properly, gather a circle of fellow players, and rediscover the lost art of an unhurried evening.

What you'll take away
Fluency, not just familiarity
By day two, you're playing real games — confidently, without a cheat sheet.
The authentic Chinese rules
We teach the original game as it has been played for generations — not a simplified variant.
A community of players
Class groups stay in touch. Many become weekly playing circles in their own homes.
A keepsake workbook
Every student receives a signed copy of The Tile Stories — yours to revisit forever.
